She encouraged us to interact with her, and that's good because when you interact at our age, it brings us to life.

She is known for her project management skills as evidenced by successful galas, events, awards competitions, and fundraisers for corporate clients, individuals and not-for-profit organizations. She will also lead projects for galas and other fundraisers by working with volunteers along with providing print and online tools to sign up sponsors, sell tickets and see the project through to successful completion. Susan Turner is pleased to bring 5 years of successful charter school business management to The Optima Foundation. During her term at a Florida charter school, Mrs.
Over four successive years, Mrs. Turner ensured flawless external audits, all resulting in no material weaknesses or deficiencies. In addition to financial management, Mrs. Turner assisted with various legal and compliance aspects of charter schools, including FMLA rules, employment contracts, public records requests, and school-sponsor disputes.
She enjoys working with Florida school districts, other charter schools, teachers, and administrators to share best practices for the common goal of outstanding public education.
Prior to school management, Mrs. Turner worked in small business management for 10 years. After modelling for a company as a child, she eventually joined that organization to manage employee benefits and compensation, sales strategies, asset management, and customer service.
